Terraria Sealab by WindStricken Terraria Sealab by WindStricken
So I did end up doin a sealab next after all :D It was ridiculous amounts of digging and filling in water afterwards, but the building part was a lot of fun! I had to raid all the dungeons I could find to get all those colorful bricks n such :-X I reeeeaally wish there was a glass background! Or at least windows or something. Well it's an idea for the future right? ;)

Also yeah I kinda cheated a lil by putting stuff on the ground as "props" like the potions and gages, but I only have so much to work with here ^^;

Also I found the stuff for my sunglasses finally, while waiting for daylight to keep building! You should get them, put them on, then look at the sky. It's pretty funny :D

Dunno what I'm gonna work on next, maybe that corruption castle, or maybe a sky maze! (dunno exactly what that'll be like but I'll just make it up as I go along)

P.S. Don't bother trying to find Pod 6. They blew up. Nobody likes Pod 6 :devilish:

-EDIT- So I didn't realize before but you can't set the sealab as your house cus the bricks are made from dungeons, sorry everyone :(

this is a really nice build. if you do any more build underwater i would suggest doing some fishing quests until you get the super absorbent sponge which really help get rid of unwanted water

Y'know, there is a way to make windows: Glass Walls.
All you need is sand, a furnace, and a work bench.
Just trying to help out. :)

It wouldn't take all that much to make, you could do it a lot easier now that the oceans are much larger, you wouldn't need to dig a whole area out for it :D

Just how long did it take you to build this!? It took me a full 24 hours (game hours) to redesign and build my house!

Well it took several days (real time) of planning, digging, and mining materials to set up, but once I got going on the actual building of it, it didn't take all that long. Only hard part was thinking what to put in all the rooms :D

I feel invincible with my Sunglasses and my Tux. And, as long as the back wall isn't dungeon brick, you can set it as your house. Unless that's what you meant by "Dungeon brick", and I misunderstood.

Anyways, astounding job. Perhaps a fancy Meteor Head farm might be an interesting build. You'll need 50 Meteorite ore to make some spawn.

I'm wearing the plumber outfit with jungle rose right now, it goes together well :D And yeah, an easy fix would be to make the walls out of obsidian I think. It'd look almost the same, and then you could live in the Sealab, safe from all creepies and crawlies that prowl the surface! And you can have lil fishies swimming around above you as you sleep. That'd be really cool >>

I connected my house to artificial biomes so I can have my own pet creepy crawlies From the Jungle, Overground Jungle, Stone layer, the forest, and the Corruption. I'm connecting to a Floating island so I can have pet Harpies. I have precious little obsidian, not enough to make any walls >>

FISHIES.
